English: Rotary snowplow RhB Xrotd 9213 working on the Bernina Line at Lago Bianco, Switzerland. This picture was taken on a special event for photographers, but operations like this were common until the 1960s. Today the Xrotd is rarely used, when there's lots of snow to clear, and it's mainly kept for the pleasure of railfans. The pushing locomotive is a dual mode (diesel and electric) Gem 4/4.
Deutsch: Dampfschneeschleuder der RhB, die Xrotd 9213, im Einsatz auf der Berninalinie am Lago Bianco. Das Bild wurde an einem Spezialanlass für Fotografen aufgenommen, aber solche Einsätze waren durchaus typisch bis in die 60er-Jahre. Heutzutage wird die Xrotd nur noch bei sehr viel Schnee gebraucht, und wird hauptsächlich zur Freude von Eisenbahnfans einsatzfähig gehalten. Die schiebende Lokomotive ist eine Zweikraftlok (Diesel und Elektrisch) Gem 4/4.

Cette image a été prise lors d'un événement spécial pour photographes, mais de telles manoeuvres avaient lieu couramment jusqu'aux années 60. Aujourd'hui, le Xrotd n'est plus que rarement utilisé, particulièrement lorsque la neige à dégager est abondante, il est plutôt conservé pour le plaisir des passionnés des trains. La locomotive est un modèle Gem 4/4 à propulsion mixte, électrique et diesel.
